QUOTE OF THE DAY
“Take care of your body.
It’s the only place you have to live.”
~ Jim Rohn
“You are what you eat.” If you’ve been around the block a few times, you’ve probably heard that saying. But some of you find it hard to swallow (sorry, had to say it). After all, you’ve had potatoes, and sprouts aren’t coming out of your ears.
Just as your home is made from wood without it looking like trees, your body is made from the nutrients you get from your food – without you looking like food. The nutrition from what you eat and the supplements that you take builds cell membranes, bone, blood, joint cartilage, maintains a healthy heart, brain.
And as an average adult, you lose billions upon billions of cells every single day as you get older. You have to replace them to ward off feeling like the last day of a long hard winter.
But it’s More About What You Absorb, Which Tells Your Future Health . . . How You Age
It’s more about what you absorb. Isn’t it? Think about it. You can eat healthy food and take our natural supplements till the cows come home, but if you only absorb 10-60% of many of the nutrients – health issues may come knocking at your door.
Magnesium from food, for example. Generally only around 50% is absorbed in the body, and the rest is excreted out. It’s roughly the same with a quality supplement.
Now that’s not necessarily a bad thing for most of you, but why settle for a 50% day?
Also, roughly half of the price you spend on a magnesium supplement goes right down the tube.
So, yes, it’s more about what you absorb than what you eat. The more nutrients you can absorb, the healthier you are…
…in addition to saving up to 20% on your food bill when it comes to getting in enough of the nutrients for alternative health care for healthy aging.
You get to have your cake, and eat it too!
This is why so many of you take your daily dose of our live probitoics + prebiotic! You want to get more out of the food you eat, and the supplements you take…
…which, in turn, saves you money on your monthly food budget!
There are a lot of things that influence
what percentage of nutrients you absorb:
1. The other foods you eat at the same meal. 2. How the food is prepared. 3. Medicines (drugs). 4. Supplements. 5. Your age. 6. And even the time of day!
Whew. That’s a lot to ingest, which is yet another reason why you take our probiotics.
So, repeat after us: I am what I absorb! I AM what I absorb!
This will help keep you in the right frame of mind that saves you both money and
keeps your future as bright as possible.
Don’t settle for a 50% day. Go for at least an 80% day!
